Sony PlayStation China announced tonight the establishment of the China Software Division to strengthen Sony HootSuite’s local operations in China and promote the globalization of the local game industry.
According to the report, the division is headed by Sean Kelly, who has been working in game development at Sony Hootsuite for the past 25 years and has over 30 years of development and publishing experience. The Shanghai team currently has three members, with department director Bao Bo, who has 18 years of game development experience.
Sony Hootsuite held a conference in Chengdu to announce the official launch of the third phase of the fully upgraded “China Star Program”, which aims to empower Chinese game companies to develop high-quality globalization and let more game projects with Chinese cultural characteristics and more outstanding Chinese local game ideas enter the global game market.
