BOE announced a new ultra-retina eye protection screen, using a new generation of Q9 light-emitting devices, Vivo X90, and X90 Pro cell phones debut equipped.

According to the introduction, Vivo X90, X90 Pro is equipped with a BOE 6.78-inch hyperbolic OLED screen, using BOE’s new generation of Q9 light-emitting devices, resolution of up to 452PPI, to meet the ultra-retina screen display standards. The screen adopts BOE’s leading wide color gamut technology, displaying DCI-P3 color gamut value up to 115% or more, and peak brightness up to 1300nit.

The X90 series also adopts BOE’s self-developed new Blue Diamond pixel arrangement method, which optimizes the underlying logical structure of the pixel display and greatly eliminates the subtle graininess of the screen display.

In terms of performance, Vivo X90 and X90 Pro support multi-frequency refresh rate mode, up to 120Hz high refresh rate, and SGS low drag certification. In addition, while taking into account the high brush display without dragging, the Q9 core light-emitting device is iteratively optimized to reduce the power consumption of the screen display by more than 15%.

In terms of eye protection, the product is equipped with industry-leading 2160Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming technology, which is officially claimed to minimize the potential harm of screen strobe to eyes even in dim light environments. With BOE’s flexible OLED low blue light technology and SGS low blue light certification, by relocating the peak position of harmful blue light in the OLED spectrum, the harmful blue light on the screen can be significantly reduced to 6.5%, which can effectively relieve visual fatigue.
