According to the Shanghai Stock Exchange e-interactive platform, Thalys Group Co., Ltd. today announced its third quarter report for 2023. Report data shows that in the quarter, Thalys Group achieved revenue of 5.648 billion RMB, a year-on-year decrease of 47.25%, with a net loss of approximately 950 million RMB, compared with a net loss of 947 million CNY in the same period last year. However, net cash flow from operating activities increased by 147.59% year-over-year in the quarter.

Judging from the cumulative total of this year, the revenue of Cyrus Group in the first three quarters was 16.68 billion RMB, a year-on-year decrease of 27.86%, and the net loss was 2.294 billion RMB, which was approximately 2.675 billion RMB in the same period last year. The revenue situation began to improve.

Thalys Group stated that the main reason for the change in revenue in this quarter was the year-on-year decline in sales. The new product, the new M7 series, was released and delivered in late September. As the company’s products are gradually delivered, operating income is expected to increase significantly.

It was previously reported that the September production and sales report data released by Thalys Group earlier this month showed that the brand achieved production of 17,270 vehicles that month, a year-on-year decrease of 41.11%, and sales of 17,952 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 37.93%.

The production and sales of new energy vehicles were 9,062 and 10,246 respectively, a year-on-year decrease of 51.68% and 41.77%. Among them, the production and sales of Cyrus cars were 6,101 and 7,125 units, a year-on-year decrease of 45.74% and 29.75%.

For comparison, Thalys’s new energy vehicle production and sales in August were 5,711 and 6,243 units respectively.

Entering September and October this year, the popularity of AITO new M7, M9 and other models jointly designed by Huawei and Thalys continues to increase. According to Huawei Managing Director, Terminal BG CEO, and Smart Car Solutions Chairman Yu Chengdong, as of 10:00 on October 7, a total of 55,506 new M7 units have been ordered. Another flagship model, the AITO M9, which will be released in December, also enjoys high popularity: as of October 25, the number of reservations for this model exceeded 15,000.
