Samsung has now pushed an update to the Korean versions of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 + and Galaxy S23 Ultra phones, focusing on fixing nine issues in the camera app and integrating the March security patch.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series camera app update as follows:

  • A new feature has been added to the Albums app that allows deleting photos that are in process after the camera has taken them.
  • Makes taking photos faster. Samsung has adjusted the AF mechanism so that when the user presses the shoot button, the user can take a picture even if it is not fully focused. Users who want to take a picture after completing focus as before can change it in the latest version of Camera Assistant.
  • Improved picture clarity and flash algorithm in low-light indoor scenarios with Super Steady On turned on.
  • Fixed the issue of intermittent display of a green line on the left side when shooting.
  • Fixed the stability of shooting FHD60 video when Auto FPS is disabled on the rear camera.
  • Fixed the issue that the sky sometimes shows line streaks of noise when shooting in low light.
  • Fix the problem that shooting in low light malfunctioned after selecting Shooting Speed > High Resolution > Speed Priority in Camera Assistant.
  • Fix the issue that faces were not recognized intermittently after ending a call in the 3rd party video app.
  • Improved camera stability.

The above update is currently limited to the Korean Galaxy S23 series, and Samsung expects to push this update to the China Galaxy S23 series in the near future.
