Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 breaking news: double-sided Corning Gorilla Victus+ glass, adjust the charging curve

Samsung will release the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 / Flip 4 two folding screen phone on August 10, the appearance and configuration of the new machine has been exposed.

According to the latest revelation by Ahmed Qwaider, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 will be upgraded to a more robust Corning Gorilla Victus+ glass, covering the display and rear panel, the same as used in the Galaxy S22 series.

Qwaider also confirmed that the charging specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will remain the same, with 25W charging and a 4270mAh battery, but he said that Samsung will adjust the charging curve to speed up charging. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 can only charge 33% in half an hour, while the leak says the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will charge 50% in the same amount of time.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is powered by Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1, with 15% higher CPU performance, 59% higher GPU performance and 68% higher NPU performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, a 4400mAh battery and 25W charging, as well as a triple rear camera design with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide angle, 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom), and is expected to be equipped with a 7.6-inch AMOLED main screen (120Hz refresh rate) (120Hz refresh rate) and a 6.2-inch secondary display with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
