When Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series, it started at $999 ($100 more than the Galaxy S10). However, due to factors such as poor sales, Samsung had to lower the pricing to start at $799 when it launched the Galaxy S21 series. Samsung also maintained the same pricing when it released the Galaxy S22 series.

Samsung may increase the pricing of its next-generation Galaxy S23 series smartphones, which include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

According to 9To5Google, Samsung is expected to increase the pricing of the Galaxy S23 series in the United States by $100 (currently about 677 CNY). The report says the 128GB version of the Galaxy S23 will cost AU$1,350, while the 256GB version will cost AU$1,450. The 128GB version of the Galaxy S23+ is reported to cost AU$1,650, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra could be priced at AU$1,950.

So, in the US, the base Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra could cost $899, $1,099, and $1,299, respectively.

The price increase of the Samsung S23 series may be due to higher component costs and rising inflation. Still, it’s better than the $1,000 starting price of the Galaxy S20 series.

If users pre-order the Galaxy S23 series smartphones in advance, they will get a larger discount. Samsung will provide free storage upgrade service. For example, users can buy a 256GB version of the phone for the price of the 128GB version. In addition, Samsung can also give away free Galaxy Buds 2 Pro wireless headphones and more.

The company is offering a $50 Samsung Store credit if users pre-order a Galaxy S23 device in the US. Users can get $100 in Samsung Store credit if they reserve two Galaxy devices. You can also use this in-store credit to order accessories for your Galaxy S23.
