Samsung’s software updates this year have been impressively fast. After releasing stable Android 13 updates to the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S22 in the past two weeks, Samsung has released an update to the Galaxy A53 5G. Today, Samsung has released a stable Android 13 update for the Galaxy A33 5G.
The Android 13 update for the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is available in Europe as firmware version A336BXXU4BVJG. The new software still uses the October 2022 security patch. The download package for the update is about 2GB in size and it is best to use a Wi-Fi network to download the update.
European Galaxy A33 5G users can download and install Android 13 by going to Settings – Software Update and clicking the Update button.
Samsung’s Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update brings a revamped UI design with an expanded palette feature, slightly larger icons in the notification area, and stacked widgets. The update also brings OCR (optical character recognition) in the camera, albums, and keyboard apps. Samsung has also improved all its built-in apps to add more functionality.
