Samsung announced today that the company ranked first in the global TV market for 17 consecutive years, while ranking first in the global sales of the bar speaker market for nine consecutive years.



Citing data from market research agency FutureSource, the report shows that Samsung Electronics will account for 18.4% of the global sound bar market in 2022, accounting for 20.2% of revenue. Samsung Electronics has maintained the No. 1 position since 2014.
“We are doing our best to meet consumers’ expectations for sound bars and try to make them a reality,” said Kim Chul-gi, vice president of Visual Display Business Division at Samsung Electronics.
The global sound bar market has been showing a steady growth of about 5.7% in the past three years, with shipments of 23.16 million units in 2022 and expected to grow to about 26 million units by 2025.
