After a long ago, Redmi launched a new smartphone in its Redmi K-series. The Redmi K50i has finally launched in India. It offers some of the best specifications like a performance-oriented MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, a 144Hz high refresh rate LTPS screen and much more. Redmi K50i specifications and features

The Redmi K50i offers a 6.67-inches IPS LCD display with FHD+ 1080*2400 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certification support. Moreover, it’s an LTPS display, which means it can switch between different refresh rates depending upon the content. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.

It comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixels main sensor with f/1.89 aperture, 8-megapixels ultra-wide lens and 2-megapixels macro sensor. It has got a 16-megapixels front-facing selfie snapper, housed in centre aligned punch hole cutout. It is backed by a 5080mAh battery coupled with 67W fast charging. The company claims that the smartphone can charge up to 50% in 15 minutes.

The device will boot up on Android 12-based MIUI skin out of the box. The device further comes in IP68 dust and water resistance rating. All the basic sensor and connectivity features are present on the device.

Redmi K50i pricing and variants

The Redmi K50i comes in two different variants in India; 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The 6GB variant is priced at INR 25,999 and the 8GB variant is priced at INR 29,999. The device will be available in Stealth Black, Phantom Blue and Quick Silver colour variants. The smartphone will go on sale in the country starting July 23rd, 2022.
