July 18, Redmi is about to release a new K50 series in India, named K50i. in time for the launch, mysmartprice has revealed the real Redmi K50i photos. The K50i screen is LCD with FHD+ resolution, a 6.6-inch screen size, and a center-bore form factor compared to the K50’s 2K Samsung screen.
This is the only model in the K50 series family that is made of LCD, the previously released K50, K50 Pro and K50 Gaming Edition are all made of OLED.
The Redmi K50i, like the K50, is also equipped with MediaTek’s flagship 8100 processor, which is a sub-flagship chip commercialized by MediaTek this year, based on TSMC’s 5nm process, and is considered to be a generation of gods.
Specifically, MediaTek’s Tiangui 8100 chip consists of four 2.85GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores for strong performance.
In addition, Redmi K50i has 64 million AI triple cameras on the rear, including 64 million main camera, 8 million super wide angle and 2 million macro, with 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB options.
The phone will debut in India on July 20.
