Existing users have taken spy photos of the road test of the Porsche 718 Boxster EV test car. This convertible car has Porsche characteristics in terms of appearance.

According to reports, the model is based on the PPE platform architecture, including a 900-volt architecture, a new motor design, and suspension upgrades. The charging power of this car is 177kW at 53% SOC, the charging voltage is 749V, and the charging current is 236A.

It is worth mentioning that since this model is barely a “value-for-money” product among luxury cars, it may only be equipped with a single motor, but a dual-motor AWD version may also be available.

According to many estimates, the “entry-level” Porsche 718 Boxster EV will start at around $80,000 (currently about 542,000 CNY). Also, while it’s unclear if the Boxster will continue to use the Macan EV’s design, both cars are expected to remain in dealerships through 2025.
