OPPO official announcement, OPPO Watch 3 series the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 wearable platform, is expected to be released in August.
The OPPO Watch 3 smartwatch is a two-color rendering of the micro-blogger @digitalchatting.com today, with a large change in appearance, a hyperbolic micro-arc dial design, a 3D curved screen, a 3D rotating crown, and a textured leather strap.
OPPO Watch 3 series adopts 1.91-inch AMOLED LTPO square dial with 3D micro-arc hyperbolic + rotating crown design. OPPO Watch 3 series is equipped with Snapdragon W5 wear flagship chip and Apollo4 Plus sports flagship chip, standard with ECG, eSIM, NFC and 5ATM water resistance, with 5 days of full smart battery or 15 days of light smart battery.
According to previous news, OPPO Watch 3 series is expected to be released on August 10, with three models OWW211/212/213, supporting eSIM technology with independent eUICC chip, similar in size to its predecessor, offering black, silver, dark gray and light gold color schemes, and ColorOS Watch system will also see an upgrade.
According to Qualcomm, the flagship Snapdragon W5+ series of wearable platforms will enable wearable device manufacturers to create the differentiated experience consumers expect with 50 percent lower power consumption, two times higher performance, two times more features and 30 percent smaller size compared to its predecessor.
The wearable-specific platform features a hybrid architecture that includes a 4nm system-on-chip (SoC) and a highly integrated 22nm always-on (AON) co-processor. It incorporates a range of platform innovations, including a new ultra-low power Bluetooth 5.3 architecture, and low power islands for Wi-Fi, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and audio, with support for low power states such as deep sleep and hibernation.
