During the CES 2023 GeForce Beyond live broadcast, Nvidia announced the new RTX Video Super Resolution (RTX Video Super Resolution) technology, which can be called DLSS in the field of video playback.

According to reports, the RTX Video Super Resolution feature uses AI to improve the quality of any video viewed in a browser by removing blocky compression artifacts and increasing video resolution. The technology improves the sharpness and clarity of video, enabling the viewing of online content at its native resolution on high-resolution displays.

Owners of GeForce RTX 40 and RTX 30 series graphics cards can enable RTX video super-resolution starting next month, using AI improvements to get an upgraded experience of video content watched on Chrome and Edge browsers, follow-up Supports RTX 20 series graphics cards.
