Fossil released the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Wellness Edition (hybrid health version) watch. Although Fossil launched a smartwatch, it has not lost the essence of a traditional watch-it has physical hands and can be adjusted through the crown setting. The new watch doesn’t run Wear OS, but you can buy variants of the same watch with the operating system built-in.

The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Wellness Edition has mechanical hands and an e-ink grayscale display with backlight. There are also dials with hour and minute markers around the screen.

The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Health Edition is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 44 mm and a thickness of 11.4 mm. The watch’s lugs (the key part connecting the strap to the case) are 20mm wide and will be compatible with most watch bracelets or straps.

The watch can last up to two weeks, and it only needs 60 minutes of charging to get 80% battery life. It also supports 30 meters of water resistance.

The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Health Edition Watch can function as a smartwatch, capable of receiving text messages, phone calls, and other app notifications. Users also have full media control and complete all other tasks on the smartwatch.

Fossil has added features like a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen, VO2 Max, and workout detection. There is also a dial design for the “health meter”.

The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Wellness Edition watch is available in black dial and case, blue dial and silver case, and pink dial and silver case. The watch is priced at $229 (approximately RMB 1,582) and will be available on January 5.
