NVIDIA France accidentally announces GeForce RTX 4070 Ti specifications

0

With the official launch of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti less than a week away, NVIDIA France leaked everything by revealing the official specs of the upcoming GPU, which appeared to go live early on the full product page, but was later taken down. But that didn’t stop Twitter leaker @momomo_us from getting a few screenshots, including NVIDIA’s official performance numbers.

The graphs don’t contain any additional surprises, as we already know the CUDA core count and memory size, as the RTX 4070 Ti was originally the 12 GB RTX 4080 renamed, and it’s interesting that NVIDIA compared the RTX 4070 Ti to the RTX 3080 12 GB in three official benchmarks, as that makes the RTX 4070 Ti look much better than it really is, at least based on the rumored 800 -$900 MSRP looks like this.

One of the three benchmarks used Cyberpunk 2077 with optical tracking turned on, and NVIDIA measured the RTX 4070 Ti to be about 3.5x faster than the RTX 3080.

We’ll know the final details on the RTX 4070 Ti’s actual performance, official pricing, and actual retail price next week.
