Nvidia finalizes “GeForce Beyond” event on January 3, expected to launch GeForce RTX 40 series

NVIDIA has released an official preview of its “GeForce Beyond” event to be held on January 3rd at 8am Pacific time, just 2 days before the opening of CES 2023.

The official Nvidia teaser does not reveal much useful information at the moment, but it is speculated that Nvidia may launch GeForce RTX 40 mobile graphics cards for notebooks at this event, which may include RTX 4090, 4080, 4070.

Acer’s new gaming notebook now appears on Geekbench with Intel i9-13900HX and RTX 4080 configuration. Graphics, the notebook is equipped with RTX 4080 GPU, 7424 CUDA core, equipped with 12GB of video memory, and OpenCL run score of 178038.

In comparison, the current RTX 3080 Ti 16G mobile GPU scores between 140,000 and 150,000 points. Based on the scores, the RTX 4080 performance is estimated to be more than 1.2 times that of the RTX 3080 Ti.
