Nubia is going to launch the next flagship smartphone soon. The company’s president has confirmed that they will launch a new Z-series smartphone in the month of July. And we’re coming closer to the official launch as the month of July has already started. Following up on that, the leaks and rumours have also started hovering online regarding the device.

To recall, the Nubia Z40 Pro was released by the company in February of this year. The device includes a curved Super AMOLED panel, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, and a decent set of cameras. It now appears that the recently released device will be positioned below the Z40 Pro and will most likely be marketed as either the Nubia Z40 or the Nubia Z50/Pro.

According to the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming device will have an anime-themed special edition. For example, the Nubia Z40 Pro had a limited edition smartphone called “Outcast Limited Edition,” which was themed after the anime “The Outcast.” Aside from that, we don’t have much information about the device. It is expected to be powered by the most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset.
