Carl Pei’s Nothing Phone (1) took to show off its camera abilities on the company’s official website. In the words of Nothing, “camera quality is everything,” and they promise that their new device will live up to its hype. This device comes to switch just two cameras on the rear and a selfie camera. In this article, we’d focus on samples available, which only include the rear camera.

Nothing chooses to stick to two cameras instead of using more sensors that will end up being useless. The main camera sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX766 with a 1/1.57-inch size. This camera system has both OIS and EIS stabilization to ensure almost freeze pictures even in shaky conditions.

Intelligent features like Night Mode and Scene detection help to set the mood for pictures. It does this by telling what subject is being taken and picking the best image settings. Well, words can’t fully explain the camera abilities of the Nothing Phone (1). Available sample images will do a better job of explaining the image capabilities of this device.

For videography, this device also adopts the 10-bit colour system. This will help refine the colour, contrast, and brightness, and also reduce the loss of quality of videos. We already know that Phone (1) will be a mid-range device. It’s camera abilities as shown put it an edge above the mid-range competition.

The Nothing Phone (1) will be available for purchase on July 12 via an invite-only system. It has a price estimate of 30,000-35,000 Rupees (~$380-441) putting it in close range of the Samsung Galaxy A53. Performance-wise, this device will use the Snapdragon 778G+ 5G processor.
