Nothing Phone 2 to launch this summer, debut in the U.S. market

The Nothing Phone 2 will be launched this summer, the second phone from Nothing and the first to enter the U.S. market, the company announced at MWC 2023 earlier this year. Nothing was revealed some information about the phone at MWC 2023 earlier this year, but the exact design and configuration are still a big mystery.

The Nothing Phone 2 will be positioned as a high-end phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon previously accidentally revealed that the phone will use the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip that was released last year, which isn’t the latest but is still very powerful, at least compared to the Snapdragon 778G Plus chip used in the Nothing Phone 1.

Nothing has posted a short animation on social media that hints at some special design elements the phone might have, such as lighting effects. However, no specific details have been announced yet, so we’ll have to wait until the summer launch to find out what’s in store. For now, all we know is that the phone could be released at the end of June at the earliest and will be launched first in the U.S. market.
