Modular notebook maker Framework today announced that the new Laptop 13 notebooks will be powered by the R7 7840U and R5 7640U processors. Both products are available for pre-order today and will ship in volume as early as the third quarter of this year.
The Framework Laptop 13 notebook cooling system is described as being capable of running under continuous loads of up to 28W. The screen size is 13.5 inches, 3:2 ratio, 2256*1504 resolution, 100% sRGB color gamut and 400 nits brightness. The notebook is 15.85mm thick and weighs 1.3kg.
The laptop body has four interface expansion positions for USB4, USB-A and other ports.
Framework’s official website shows that the Framework Laptop 13 with the R7 7040U processor is priced at $849 (currently about RMB 5,875).
