Since its birth, the airplane has been favored by people for its super-fast flight speed and huge transportation capacity, and is an indispensable means of transportation for modern civilization. Especially for those who need to cross the border frequently, the emergence of airplanes has completely changed their lives.

However, aviation accidents and environmental problems can not be ignored. Recently, the Israeli Airport Authority said that Israel will ban the use of four-engine aircraft, including Boeing 747, from March 31, 2023, in order to reduce noise and air pollution.

According to CNMO, Israel has banned the use of four-engine aircraft, including the Boeing 747, in order to reduce the noise and air pollution caused by the takeoff and landing of four-engine aircraft, as part of the country’s environmental protection plan.

Currently, Israel has told airlines that they will not be able to land large planes at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv and other major airports starting in the summer of 2023. However, Israel has said that in exceptional cases, four-engine aircraft can be used normally after obtaining special permission.

It is worth noting that all Boeing 747s of Israel’s national airline were retired in 2019, and most airlines flying to Israel have largely stopped using four-engine aircraft.

The only four-engine commercial airliners in production are the Boeing 747 and the Airbus A380 and A340.
