Nikon officially announced that it is developing a fast medium-telephoto fixed-focus lens Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.2 S and a thin wide-angle fixed-focus lens Nikkor Z 26mm f/2.8 for the Nikon Z mount system.

Nikon Corporation announced the development of a fast mid-telephoto prime lens, the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S, and a thin, wide-angle prime lens, the NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8, both lenses compatible with Nikon Z mount full-frame/ FX format mirrorless camera.
The NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S is part of the S-Type (S-Line)* NIKKOR Z lens series, which achieves outstanding rendering performance and large, beautiful bokeh. It expands the possibilities for users to take portraits in fields such as wedding and fashion. S-Type (S-Line) is a class of Nikkor Z lenses that “offer excellent optical performance and adhere to high standards of design principles and quality control”.
According to the official statement, the Nikkor Z 26mm f/2.8 achieves excellent slimness and lightness, as well as high rendering performance, making it one of the ideal lenses for advanced amateur photographers, which can be carried around without missing the exciting moment.
