Nikon officially announced that it is developing a fast medium-telephoto fixed-focus lens Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.2 S and a thin wide-angle fixed-focus lens Nikkor Z 26mm f/2.8 for the Nikon Z mount system.

Nikon Corporation announced the development of a fast mid-telephoto prime lens, the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S, and a thin, wide-angle prime lens, the NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8, both lenses compatible with Nikon Z mount full-frame/ FX format mirrorless camera.

The NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S is part of the S-Type (S-Line)* NIKKOR Z lens series, which achieves outstanding rendering performance and large, beautiful bokeh. It expands the possibilities for users to take portraits in fields such as wedding and fashion. S-Type (S-Line) is a class of Nikkor Z lenses that “offer excellent optical performance and adhere to high standards of design principles and quality control”.
