New Xpeng P7 will be named P7i: with dual lidar and launch in March

The new Xpeng P7 is expected to be named “P7i”, continuing the naming rules of Xpeng G3i. Previously, the car was launched in Europe on February 3 and is expected to be launched in China in March.

According to the report, the domestic version of the new P7 will be equipped with two lidars. On the whole, the appearance of the overseas version of Xpeng P7 is basically the same as that of the current model, with a length, width and height of 4888/1896/1450 mm, a wheelbase of 2998 mm, and a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument and a 14.96-inch central control screen.

Delivery data shows that in January 2023, Xpeng Motors delivered a total of 5,218 vehicles. The new facelift P7 will be unveiled soon. Judging from the exposed pictures, the details of the front of the new Xpeng P7 have some changes. The split headlights are retained, but the lidar position will be reserved at the headlights. It is expected that the new car will be equipped with the XPILOT3.5 intelligent assistance system in the future.
