MSI’s 1300W ATX 3.0 power supply coming soon with a 16-pin graphics card connector

0

MSI introduced its first Platinum full-module power supply designed to support ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0, the MEG Ai1300P PCIE5.

MSI says the Ai1300P PCI-E5 power supply unit is fully compliant with PCI-E 5.0 and ATX 3.0 standards with native 16 PIN (12VHPWR) PCI-E connectors for use with existing and even next-generation high-performance graphics cards, and can freely deliver up to 600W of power to PCI-E 5.0 graphics cards. To withstand the higher currents required by graphics cards or CPUs the MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 power supply’s connector uses copper alloy terminals for added safety.

In addition, officials say the MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 can safely achieve 2x total power offset at 200% power, while also meeting Intel test standards at 120%, 160% and 180%. When the current changes drastically for a short period of time, the voltage of MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 can be controlled within the allowed voltage range to keep the system stable and avoid system anomalies.

For safety, MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 can maintain OPP and OCP for maximum safety, maintaining 1300W x 1.25 as the normal OPP level at 1623.55W. In terms of power timing, the MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 is officially said to be fully compliant with this timing, as shown in the figure below.

MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 power supply is now available, 1000W power, native 12VHPWR “16pin” interface, single-port 600W output, priced at RMB 1399.
