Motorola Moto Edge 2022 will launch in the third quarter of this year. This smartphone has the codename Dubai+, and leaks have given us a bit about its specifications and design. The Edge 2022 will be the successor to the Edge 30 series, but it’ll use a MediaTek processor instead of a Snapdragon processor.
The design of this smartphone is similar to that seen on the Edge 30 series. From the leaks, it’ll use a 6.5-inch screen with FHD and a pOLED panel. There will as well be support for refresh rate at 144Hz, hence offering fast and responsive screen feedback.
Leaks claim that the processor on this device is the MediaTek Dimensity MT6879. This processor is from the MediaTek M80 Moderm family with support for 5G sub-6GHz and mmWave. Available memory on this device will come in 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
A triple rear camera setup will launch on this device, as with the Motorola Moto Edge 30 series. This setup will house a 50MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth. According to leaks, the centre screen cutout on this device will house a 32MP selfie camera. The coming Motorola Moto Edge 2022 will pack a 5000mAh long-lasting battery. Leaks also showcase another added benefit on this coming device, which is stylus support.
