Motorola Edge 40 5G phone HD renders revealed, price is 599 euros

The Motorola Edge 40 5G phone has been revealed in high-definition renders by reliable source Steve Hemmerstoffer (screen name OnLeaks) in collaboration with foreign technology media The TechOutlook.

The device is powered by the yet-to-be-released MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage space. The battery capacity is 4400mAh and supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The Edge 40 5G has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ pOLED panel screen with 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 1200nits peak brightness.

The back of the device features a 50MP f/1.5 main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

It will be available in leather and PMMA acrylic. The vegan leather version weighs about 171 grams and measures 158.43 x 71.99 x 7.58 mm. The PMMA version is 7.49 mm thick and weighs about 167 grams. Both variants will be available with an IP68 rating.

The Motorola Edge 40 5G will be available in Lunar Blue, Nebula Green, Eclipse Black and Magenta colors.

The 8GB+128GB version will be priced at 599 euros (currently about RMB 4,475) after its launch, according to sources.
