Microsoft recently released Version 2302 (internal version number 16118.20002) update for the OneNote app, adding a new toolbar to enhance the Quick Note note taking experience.

Easier migration to OneNote on Windows via the Overflow menu.Notes can now be created quickly in the following ways:
Use the Windows key + Alt + N key combination
Click on the OneNote icon in the system tray
Click on the back of the stylus
In OneNote for Windows, select View > New Quick Note.
