After announcing the new “busy options” in Teams, Microsoft promised to include three useful new features in the Outlook mobile client next month.

In February, Microsoft will add two new features to Outlook for Android and one for iOS users.

For Android users, Outlook will finally bring the ability to send an email as an attachment to another email while composing it. This means users will no longer need to go through the hassle of forwarding multiple emails individually; users can also send them all at once as attachments. This email forwarding feature is currently available for Outlook desktop and web clients.

Another change coming to Outlook for Android next month is improved storage overrun messages and options. This means that Outlook will now display “Clearer messaging and cleanup options when running out of email storage space”. This is a small change designed to make the Outlook app on Android more accessible.

iOS users, on the other hand, will get more customization options in Outlook next month. The Outlook iOS client will give users these option to choose which actions will appear in the compose toolbar and menu drawer, making it easier for users to use the tools when composing emails.

In addition to the upcoming changes mentioned above, Microsoft is also implementing a perfect integration between Outlook and Teams, which is expected to be launched in March.
