Microsoft introduced Windows 11 Quick Settings new dark/light theme switch button

Microsoft has introduced a dark theme for the File Manager and Task Manager in Windows 11, and hopes to introduce the feature to more software in future versions. In order to facilitate users to switch between dark and light themes, Microsoft recently introduced a dark mode switch button in the Quick Setting of the Win11 preview version to facilitate users to switch according to their needs.

With Quick Settings, Windows 11 users can quickly turn on/off Power Saving Mode, WiFi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, Night Light, and more without having to look them up in the Settings app.

The introduction of dark mode switching in Quick Settings means you can switch between dark and light modes with just a few clicks. You will no longer need to go to the personalization page in the Settings app to change your theme color. Of course, if you feel that dark and light mode switching is not very important to you, then you can also customize the layout of the Quick Settings features.

The feature is currently limited to the preview version of Win11, and I believe Microsoft will add it to the official version in the near future.
