Microsoft Edge’s new feature is, minimized toolbar to provide users with more screen space

Microsoft is testing a new feature for the Edge browser that provides more screen real estate by minimizing the toolbar. In the latest version of Edge Canary, Microsoft has introduced an experimental flag called “minimal toolbar experience” that moves the account icon to the title bar to provide more space.

Microsoft’s official introduction to the Flag reads, “Move the account icon to the title bar and organize the browser toolbar to provide a minimized state experience. This new feature is available for Mac, Windows and Linux”.

The new version of Edge Canary also added a new “rounded corners” decorative Flag, but whether enabled or disabled, it did not bring any changes.
