Microsoft Edge browser will support closing windows and tabs rounded corners

A few weeks ago, Microsoft announced a major design update to the Edge browser, including redesigned tabs, a large Bing button in the upper right corner, rounded corners for web pages, and other changes.

The redesigned Edge browser has caused quite a bit of controversy, with users accusing Microsoft of forcing users to accept a new UI with no option to disable it. After receiving a lot of customer feedback, Microsoft is addressing this issue.

Microsoft has added two switches to the Edge Canary 113.0.1743.0 version, allowing users to decide whether to turn on the rounded corner design of the window/tab page. This feature is expected to be updated to other versions soon.

As previously reported Microsoft Edge browser has also implemented in the latest Canary 113 version a feature that many users have been waiting for since the release of Edge 111: one click to turn off the big Bing button in the upper right corner.
