Apple Watch patent: the strap can be electrically adjusted for different scenarios

0

According to the list published by the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has recently obtained a new patent for an adjustable Apple Watch strap. The patent describes electronically adjusting the wearing mode of the strap.

Apple stated in the patent description that in scenarios such as sports and more accurate detection of heart rate, users need to tighten the strap; while in leisure and other occasions, users want to express natural relaxation.

For this reason, Apple envisions electrically adjustable Apple Watch straps, which can achieve different lengths, tensions, curvatures, fixed configurations, or other characteristics.

Users can set various strap modes such as tightening mode, loosening mode, elastic mode, and rigid mode, and the strap will automatically adjust according to different modes to meet the wearing needs of users in different scenarios.
