According to a set of screenshots shared by netizen @thebookisclosed, Microsoft plans to embed a crypto wallet feature in the Microsoft Edge browser.
According to the screenshot page, Microsoft plans to provide Edge browser users with a “non-custodial wallet” (non-custodial wallet), which means that cryptocurrency holders will not need to rely on third parties to store private keys and passwords.
Microsoft says it is promoting the project to provide users with an easier and more secure experience without third-party extensions and to simplify the interaction experience with Web3.
