Microsoft officially stated that some Win10 and Win11 users may encounter bugs that cannot copy, save and import files when using Win32 applications.

Microsoft updated the Windows Health Dashboard this week, indicating that the failure is intermittent and mainly affects applications that call the CopyFile API on the Win10 and Win11 platforms.

32-bit applications that support "Detect Large Addresses" and call the CopyFile API may experience intermittent problems when saving, copying, or importing files.

Affected platform versions

 Client: Windows 11, version 22H2; Windows 10, version 22H2; Windows 11, version 21H2; Windows 10, version 21H2
