Both Intel and AMD have now released the latest generation of processors, of which Intel’s 13th-generation Core supports DDR5-5600 memory natively, while AMD Ryzen 7000 natively supports DDR5-5200.

According to Micron, the CPU and memory bandwidth is 76.8GB/s when using DDR5-4800 memory in a dual-channel (64bit×2) configuration. In comparison, the CPU and memory bandwidth is 89.6GB/s when using DDR5-5600 dual-channel memory.

At present, the frequency of DDR5 memory on the market covers DDR5-4800 to DDR5-6000+ (OC). In terms of price, taking Kingston as an example, the price of 16GB DDR5-4800 is 559 yuan; the price of 16GB DDR5-6400 is 1179 yuan.

According to PC Watch, Micron demonstrated its latest JEDEC-compliant DDR5-5600 memory at Intel’s “Intel Innovation” event.
