Mercedes-Benz sold 568,400 vehicles globally in the Q1 this year

After BMW, another player in the “Double B” – Mercedes-Benz also announced its delivery status in the first quarter of this year: a total of 568,400 cars and Trucks, of which car sales were 463,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 8%.

Officials said that except for Asia, Mercedes-Benz has achieved solid results in other regions; the main reason for the decline in sales in the Chinese market is that the E-class long wheelbase model is stepping up production, and sales of this model are expected to accelerate in the next few quarters.

Mercedes-Benz officials also recently announced that this year’s Beijing Auto Show flagship will bring 21 “star badge cars” and digital forward-looking technologies, including 1 world premiere model, 7 China premiere/auto show debut models, and 8 models launched in China.

Specifically, the new cars at the Beijing Auto Show include the pure electric G-class off-road vehicle, CLA-class concept car, Maybach EQS pure electric SUV, the new AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE, as well as the MB.OS in-vehicle operating system.
