Mercedes-Benz released a facelift of its pure electric flagship sedan EQS. The car is named the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS, and its appearance and some configurations have been significantly adjusted.

As Mercedes-Benz CEO Kallenius said, the new EQS will provide a more traditional appearance design, equipped with a traditional-style front grille, and the classic three-pointed star logo will also be erected on the hood. , this design inspiration naturally comes from the fuel models launched by Mercedes-Benz in the past. At the same time, the front face shape of the current EQS is also expected to be retained.

The battery life of the new car has also been significantly improved. It is reported that Mercedes-Benz has retuned the regenerative braking system to recover more energy than before. In addition, the new car has upgraded the original 108.4kWh battery to 118kWh, and the battery cells and chemical composition have been improved. As a result, the EQS’s cruising range has increased by more than 11%: the cruising range of the new EQS 450 4Matic has increased from 445 miles (Note: approximately 716.16 kilometers) under WLTP conditions to 496 miles (approximately 798.23 kilometers), while the single-motor EQS The 450+ has a cruising range of up to 511 miles (approximately 822.37 kilometers).

In terms of configuration, the new car comes standard with rear seats that can tilt 36°, and the front seats can also be optionally folded forward to increase rear space. The interior of the new car still maintains the layout and design style of the existing model, and a new chrome decoration is added to the air-conditioning outlet on the B-pillar.

The price and launch date of the new car have not yet been announced.
