Mercedes-Benz E-Class long-axis plug-in hybrid version debuts

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Beijing Benz brought the plug-in hybrid model of the E-class long wheelbase version. The new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of 2.0T+ electric motors, with a pure electric range of 106 kilometers (WLTP working conditions ).

The new E 350 e L is based on Mercedes-Benz’s fourth-generation plug-in hybrid technology. It has two complete power drive systems, fuel and electric, with both power and economy. It can also enjoy preferential policies for new energy license plates in some cities. The highly integrated power unit achieves powerful performance of 230 kilowatts and 550 Nm, but the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers can be as low as 1.23 liters.

The 25.4 kW·h power can achieve a pure electric range of 106 kilometers (WLTP operating conditions). In DC charging mode, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes; it also has battery power-maintaining mode, electric mode, and hybrid mode. There are 5 driving modes including mode, sport mode, and personalized mode, and 3 energy recovery modes: D+ no energy recovery, D-enhanced energy recovery, and D standard energy recovery, achieving the perfect coexistence of energy saving, energy replenishment, and performance.

The new E 350 e L not only has a petrol-electric power system, but also has an extended rear seat cushion, a rear “boss button”, a luxurious rear center armrest, continuous surround ambient lighting behind the seats, and ambient lighting. More than 10 China-exclusive rear luxury additions, such as the extended rear center console with wood trim, bring a luxurious experience of “plus one more power and enjoyment like E”.
