Recently, Mercedes-AMG released a set of official photos of the CLA 45 S Edition 1. Compared with the regular version of the AMG CLA 45 S, the new car has an orange body kit, which makes the combat atmosphere more intense. The power aspect remains unchanged and is still equipped with a 421-horsepower 2.0T engine. The new car will be limited to 25 units in the US market.
In terms of appearance, the new car is equipped with an orange body kit. Orange decoration is added to the front lip and the deflector fins on both sides of the lower skirt. The blackened rearview mirror is also decorated with orange to further ignite the driving excitement. Other aspects remain consistent with the regular version of the AMG CLA 45 S, equipped with AMG’s iconic straight waterfall grille and extremely aggressive aerodynamics kit.
A large orange AMG logo and racing checkered flag are added to the side of the car body, which greatly enhances the recognition of this special edition model. The rear of the car is equipped with a blackened spoiler, the rear apron is embellished with a through-type orange trim strip, and it is equipped with a total of four exhaust pipes on both sides, further reflecting its high-performance attributes.
In terms of interior, the new car uses a lot of orange elements for decoration, with orange stitching on the seats and door panels, and orange CLA 45 S logos on the headrests. The ambient lighting has also been adjusted to orange to further increase the combat atmosphere, but other colors should also be available.
The new car has not been adjusted in terms of power. It is equipped with an M139 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 421 horsepower. The transmission system is matched with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox. The 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 4.1 seconds, and the top speed is 270km/h. At the same time, the new car is also equipped with the AMG intelligent timely four-wheel drive system with AMG torque control function.
