As we approach the launch of the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, we are getting information on its performance. Previously its AnTuTu benchmark score leaked and now, its GFXBench score appears online with some impressive figures. The GFXBench score of this coming flagship processor is the highest on any available SoC, including the Apple Bionic A16.

At this moment, there is not much need to become overly excited regarding the GFXBench score of the Dimensity 9200 SoC. For now, no device uses this processor and a final verdict as to its actual performance will be made once the SoC becomes available for use. Also, people familiar with the matter claim that the test on GFXBench has not been stable as it shifts to higher values (from 176fps to 228fps).

Sources of this information make us understand that the GPU in use on the coming MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC is the Immortalis-G715 MC11. This is the ray tracing version of the already existing Mali-G715 and for more accurate results the Dimensity 9200 will need to undergo a test with a platform that supports ray tracing. Other details on the coming flagship processor from MediaTek include a three-cluster CPU with the highest frequency reaching up to 3.05GHz.

More information on the capability of this coming processor will become available during its launch event to take place on November 8. After its launch, various smartphone manufacturers will introduce the Dimensity 9200 on their next-generation flagship devices. This processor will raise the bar for competitiveness in the Android flagship device market as it will go head-to-head with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
