“Marvel Wolverine” is an action role-playing game developed by Insomniac Games, first debuted at the PlayStation Showcase in 2021.
According to well-known uncle @Jeff Grubb, Marvel’s Wolverine is aimed at a fall 2024 release and has a “semi-open” linear game design similar to God of War that will provide players with a larger-than-average game map for players to explore.
Jeff Grubb says the game is M-rated, and unlike Spider-Man, which focuses more on Wolverine than X-Men, it will feature a dismemberment system and be one of the most violent Marvel games in modern gaming.
When Insomniac announced in 2021 that it was releasing Marvel’s Wolverine, studio relations lead Ryan Schneider said, “In our Spider-Man game, our goal will not only be to honor the DNA of the original character, but also to look for opportunities to make it fresher and truly reflect the spirit of Insomniac. “
