Apple’s upcoming M3 MacBook Pro/Air and new iPad are ushering in the latest progress.
Although Apple has launched new MacBook models in October in previous years, Mark Gurman said that the latest indication is that Apple will not release new laptops and iPad Pro this month.
According to what he revealed in the latest issue of the “Power On” newsletter, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro equipped with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips have just entered the DVT verification stage, but are still some way away from mass production Walk.

Mark Gurman believes that this development indicates that the M3 MacBook Pro/Air is expected to be released between early 2024 and spring 2024, which roughly coincides with the release of the current 14/16-inch MacBook Pro (January 2023).
He also mentioned that the 13-inch MacBook Air and 15-inch MacBook Air are slightly behind the Pro series and have just entered the EVT stage. He estimates that these models will be released in the spring or summer of 2024.
