Luxeed’s L6 will be unveiled in China on April 8, to be officially launched in May

According to Bitauto.com, Luxeed Auto’s third model, the Luxeed L6, will be unveiled in China on April 8. Subsequently, the new car will be exhibited at the 2024 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition in the same month and will be officially launched in May.

The official has carried out partial warm-up of the car many times before. The car will be equipped with a “smart digital chassis” for the first time and support rear-wheel steering. It is said to be able to “walk sideways” on the road and “move in place” in the parking space.

In addition, the new car will launch the first mass-produced ultra-fast charging solid-state battery based on the quasi-900V platform, which can achieve a battery life of more than 1,000 kilometers (four-wheel drive model), and is claimed to ensure the ultra-high battery performance from the cell level. Level safety, will achieve L0 for the whole package, no heat spread and no fire.

The dual-motor and single-motor models of Zhiji L6 have been successively submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for application. The new car is 4931mm long, 1960mm wide, 1474mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2950mm.

The maximum power of the two motors of the dual-motor four-wheel drive model is 200kW and 379kW respectively, and the maximum speed is 268km/h.

Single-motor models offer a variety of different powers, including 216kW, 248kW and 300kW, with top speeds corresponding to 200km/h, 220km/h and 222km/h respectively.

The car is available with a 90kWh or 100kWh capacity battery (semi-solid battery parameters have not yet been announced), and the currently known cruising range includes 700/720/750/770km.
