Lotus’ first pure electric sedan Emeya has officially opened for reservations during the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. According to Autohome, this model will be launched in mid-January next year and is expected to sell for more than 800,000 RMB.

It is reported that Lotus Emeya’s booking methods are divided into small ordering and large ordering. Small ordering customers who successfully pay the deposit within one month after the large ordering is opened can enjoy priority car delivery rights from March to May 2024. At the same time, if the user’s delivery location is within 500 kilometers from the Lotus delivery center, Lotus can provide door-to-door delivery service of new cars free of charge. In terms of charging, the first car owner can choose a lifetime free flash charging service or a worry-free home charging/public charging package.

In addition, the first car owner can enjoy lifetime free smart driving, lifetime free Internet of Vehicles services, lifetime warranty, door-to-door mobile service, worry-free maintenance, door-to-door maintenance pick-up/delivery, and lifetime free roadside assistance services. When the car is delivered, Lotus will also give car owners premium suede floor mats and Lotus Emeya’s exclusive custom print (limited to 1,000 copies).

It is noticed that Lotus Emeya set a production electric vehicle lap record of 1 minute 35 seconds 728 at the Zhejiang International Circuit not long ago, and currently ranks 13th on the Zhejiang race lap list.

According to reports, Lotus Emeya uses dual front and rear motors. The maximum power of the front motor is 225 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the rear motor is 450 kilowatts. It can recharge 180 kilometers in 5 minutes using 350 kilowatt fast charging, and the charging time for 10%-80% of the battery is about 15 minutes.

The exterior design of Lotus Emeya is also very unique, using a lot of aerodynamic design, including an active air intake grille, active air dam, active rear diffuser and rear wing to form a “wind control package”. The adjustable double-layer rear spoiler can provide up to 215kg of downforce. In addition, Emeya is also equipped with an electronically controlled air suspension system, which adjusts the softness and hardness of the suspension to make the body more stable during driving.

Lotus Emeya’s interior features a range of eco-friendly materials, including new recycled fiber strands. Lotus Emeya is equipped with 2 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chips, 4 LiDAR chips and 2 NVIDIA Orin-X chips.
