A new monitor, the LG 34WQ60C, will soon be available for purchase in various markets. We expect this monitor to go into circulation by the end of this month, as the company has already announced its presence. This isn’t a regular flat monitor, it comes with a curved screen, just like all other models in the LG UltraWide product line.

There is not much as to the specifications of this monitor, as it doesn’t come with an in-built processor. It isn’t an AIO (all-in-one) monitor, as is the HP Star 32. But this new monitor from LG comes with a curved screen that can serve various purposes.

Starting with the size of this monitor’s screen, we have a 34-inch curved display. What we have on this device is an IPS display with a 1500R curvature. The brightness on this monitor is standard as it reaches up to 300 nits and comes with HDR10 certification.

For highly demanding activities that a user might use this monitor for, it’d refresh at 60Hz. The response time is 5ms, which is low in comparison with certain gaming monitors. You can’t expect really fast refresh rates on this monitor, since it isn’t made for gaming

For connectivity, there is a headphone jack, in addition to two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 1.4 Display port. There is as well the availability for tilt adjustment to suit a user’s head angling. Other additional features on this curved monitor are a flicker-free technology, Dynamic Action Sync, OnScreen Control, Black stabilizer, and super-resolution.

LG 34WQ60C possible pricing and availability

This monitor was launched in Japan and isn’t available for sale just yet. As we mentioned earlier, we expect it to be available before the end of the month. It’d sell on LG’s official website and in select online and offline retail stores.

We also expect this monitor to be first available in Japan, then it goes on sale in other regions. Expectations are that the pricing will be under 75,000 yen (~$541). More details on the pricing of this monitor will be made available by the company.
