The new C140 GaN adapter supports the latest PD 3.1 protocol, according to Lenovo’s latest pre-release information.

The new Lenovo Saver C140 GaN adapter has been upgraded to 140W from the previous generation’s 135W and still has a single USB-C port output. The adapter is available in black and white.

According to Lenovo’s official data, the Saver Y9000P 2023 series notebook with 140W portable fast charging can reach 92% of the actual gaming frame rate with the original adapter.

In its recent poster, Lenovo said that the new generation of Savior gaming notebooks support 140W USB-C fast charging and 100W PD fast charging, which means that the new generation of Savior gaming notebooks use a private 140W protocol and do not support PD 3.1 for now.

Lenovo’s new generation of gaming notebook launch will be held on March 21.
