Liu Jun, executive vice president and president of Lenovo Group in China, said that Lenovo achieved double-digit revenue growth in Q1 for both global gaming PCs and workstations, up 14 percent and 28 percent, respectively.

Liu Jun said that despite the slowdown in the global PC market, Lenovo’s position as the No. 1 player in the global PC market remained strong, reaching 24.4 percent in Q1 and further widening the distance between Lenovo and its competitors as it maintained strong growth in the high-value-added PC market. He stressed that Lenovo PC development is very healthy, and will continue to increase innovation in the high-end segment in the future.

At the same time, Liu Jun is also very optimistic about the overall market development of PC. He believes that, with the strengthening of the trend of hybrid office, users’ dependence on PC and the length of use are increasing, taking Chinese users as an example, users’ length of use of PC has doubled compared with that before the epidemic, and this trend will continue after the epidemic.

According to Liu Jun, Lenovo is “building a lot of land”, and the factories in Shenzhen and Tianjin will be put into operation this year, “We are expanding our production capacity to meet the future market”.
