The data shows that BYD Pingshan headquarters park has reduced 245,681.89 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, successfully creating the first zero-carbon park headquarters of Chinese automotive brands.

BYD said, through new energy vehicles, cloud buses and cloud rail to build a three-dimensional intelligent green transportation system, the use rate of new energy vehicles in the park reached 100%. All the production in the park uses its own R&D and manufacturing of pure electric forklifts, stackers, pallet trucks, heavy trucks and cleaning trucks, which fully realize green logistics.

In terms of clean energy, the public lighting in the park is replaced by solar streetlights, and solar panels are laid on the roofs, with an annual photovoltaic power generation capacity of over 40 million degrees. Self-built light storage integrated energy storage system, to effectively protect the production of electricity.

According to the report, BYD also integrates artificial intelligence technology into energy-saving technology improvement, through real-time monitoring, computing, processing, adjusting equipment operating parameters, and avoiding the ineffective operation of equipment power consumption. BYD has carried out more than 200 energy-saving technical improvement projects, and the carbon reduction can reach 70,400 tons per year.

Production and sales data show that in July 2022, BYD sold 162,530 new energy vehicles, compared with 50,492 vehicles in the same period last year, an increase of 183.1%; overseas sales of new energy passenger cars totaled 4,026 units; the total number of new energy passenger cars this year reached 803,900 units, an increase of 292.00% year-on-year.
