Today, Leica officially released a new special edition camera Leica Q2 “Ghost Edition”. The camera is jointly launched by Leica and watch media Hodinkee.
In terms of design, the Leica Q2 “Ghost Edition” has a matte warm gray lacquered casing. According to Leica, the understated and elegant color scheme was inspired by the distinctive gray bezel of the iconic diving watch.
The body of the Leica Q2 “Ghost Edition” is covered with cement gray cowhide with a natural texture, which is specially coated to protect the camera from environmental influences. At the same time, the red Leica logo is deliberately hidden, and the strap is woven with gray yarn of the same color.
In terms of configuration, the technical parameters of the Leica Q2 “Ghost Edition” camera are the same as those of the regular version. Its 47.3 million-pixel full-frame sensor is paired with a Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH. 14-bit color depth, and supports 4K video at 30 or 24 frames per second, C4K video recording at 24 frames per second.
